Do you provide third-party testing?
Yes, we prioritize purity and research integrity. We utilize third-party HPLC and Mass Spectrometry testing to verify the purity of our catalog.
How should I store my research peptides?
Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides should be stored in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. Once reconstituted, vials must be stored in a refrigerator (between 2°C and 8°C) to maintain stability. After reconstitution, most peptides generally remain stable for 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the specific compound structure.
Where do you ship from, and how long does it take?
All Apex Aminos orders are processed and shipped domestically within Canada. Standard shipping typically takes 2 business days within Alberta and 3-5 business days nationally.
What happens if my order is delayed or lost?
Because we ship domestically within Canada, you do not have to worry about international customs delays or seizures. If an order is verifiable as lost in transit by the carrier, please contact our support team with your order number for a resolution.
My peptide looks cloudy after I added solvent. Is it ruined?
Some heavier peptides or specific sequences may require gentle rolling of the vial or a few minutes to fully dissolve at room temperature. Never shake the vial vigorously, as this can damage the delicate peptide bonds.
What is your return policy?
Due to the sensitive nature of research compounds and to guarantee absolute purity for all customers, we cannot accept returns once a product has left our facility. If you receive an incorrect or damaged item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept Interac e-Transfer for fast, secure, and discreet domestic processing. We also accept select cryptocurrencies for enhanced privacy. Instructions for completing your payment will be provided securely at checkout.
My vials arrived warm during transit. Are they degraded?
No. Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides are highly stable and can withstand ambient and elevated temperatures for several weeks during transit without degradation. They only become highly sensitive to temperature after they have been reconstituted with a solvent.
Is your shipping and packaging discreet?
Yes. We respect the privacy of our researchers. All orders are shipped in plain, unmarked mailers or boxes. There are no external logos, branding, or obvious indicators of the contents on the outside of the package.
What is your quality and purity guarantee?
We stand behind the integrity of every synthesis. Apex Aminos guarantees that every compound in our catalog meets or exceeds 99% purity, as verified by independent third-party HPLC and Mass Spectrometry testing. We also guarantee the safe, intact arrival of your lyophilized compounds. Due to the strict risk of cross-contamination, we cannot accept returns once a vial has been handled, but if your order arrives damaged or fails to match our published batch protocols, contact us within 48 hours for a full replacement.
Can I research multiple peptides in the same solvent/vial?
While many researchers “stack” compounds, mixing them in the same vial can lead to unpredictable chemical reactions or degradation if the peptides have different pH stability requirements. We recommend keeping compounds in their original vials and only combining them immediately prior to research application to ensure integrity.
Why does the amount of powder (puck size) vary between different peptides
The visual size of the lyophilized “cake” inside the vial is determined by the peptide’s molecular weight and the amount of filler (usually Mannitol) required to stabilize it. A 5mg vial of one compound may look significantly different from a 5mg vial of another. This variance is normal; the dosage is determined by weight, not volume.
